The winter session of the Lok Sabha was adjourned till Thursday after Speaker Sumitra Mahajan read out the obituaries of former members of Parliament.

New Delhi: The winter session of the Lok Sabha was adjourned till Thursday after Speaker Sumitra Mahajan read out the obituaries of former members of Parliament.

As many as nine Bills were expected to be listed for introduction, consideration and passing and two bills were listed for withdrawal in this session of the LS.

According to the sources from the opposition parties, the Opposition has also decided to take on government on a string of other issues apart from demonetisation, which include the surgical strikes across the LoC, the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, the One Rank, One Pension (OROP).
