Lockdown: People trapped in Delhi Gurdwara, Shifted to School

Around 200 people stuck at the Majnu-ka-Tila Gurdwara in North Delhi. These people shifted to a school in Nehru Vihar since March 28 due to the Corona virus lockdown.

New Delhi: Around 200 people stuck at the Majnu-ka-Tila Gurdwara in North Delhi. These people shifted to a school in Nehru Vihar since March 28 due to the Corona virus lockdown. These people were staying at the Gurdwara Majnu-ka-Tila.

The 200 people who were stranded at the Gurdwara are said to include Pakistan nationals.

Since the lockdown, 200 people stranded in the Majnu-ka-Tila Gurdwara are being shifted to a school in Nehru Vihar by buses. The Quarantine Center has been built in this school. Currently, SDM and police administration are present on the spot. The Delhi government has converted its schools into temporary night shelters to prevent migration of people during lockdown.

After the matter of Nizamuddin's Tabligi Jamaat, the panic situation emerged. The other 24 people who participated in the Tabligi Jamaat event are coronavirus infected.

New Corona Cases in India:

Seventy-two people from Gujarat, including 34 from Ahmedabad, 20 from Bhavnagar and 12 people from Mehsana, attended Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi. One attendee from Bhavnagar, who tested positive, is no more while 71 others are symptomatic and in quarantine.

34 people traced in Ahmednagar, including 29 foreigners who had attended the Markaz in Nizamuddin, Delhi. Out of these 29 foreigners, results of 14 have come & 2 have tested positive for COVID19.
