New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the country in his special program MANN KI BAAT, said that he apologizes to the country, because some decisions have to be taken which disturbed the lifestyle of country, PM Modi has apologized especially to the poor section of society.

At 8 pm on 24 March, to the name of the country, PM Narendra Modi announced the nationwide lock down from 25 March. Today is the fifth day of lock down.

What PM said-

-There are many soldiers who are fighting Corona virus, not from their homes but from outside their homes. These are our front line soldiers-especially our brothers and sisters on duty as nurses, doctors & paramedical staff.

-I understand that no one wants to break rules deliberately, but there are some people who are doing so. To them, I will say that if they don’t follow this lock down, it will be difficult to protect ourselves from the danger of Corona virus.

-I apologize for taking these harsh steps which have caused difficulties in your lives, especially the poor people.

-I know some of you would be angry with me also. But these tough measures were needed to win this battle.
