Link Aadhaar to continue these services before deadline arrives

New Delhi: Government at the Centre has made Aadhaar Card mandatory for various services and documents and there is also a deadline to link it.

On failing so, citizens may face hardships in accessing their bank accounts, mobile phones and even in receiving the benefits of various schemes run by the government.

Below are the documents and services which need to be linked with your Aadhaar Card along with the last dates:

1) Aadhaar-PAN linking

The deadline for Aadhaar PAN linking is March 31, 2018.

2) Aadhaar-Mobile number linking

Citizens should link their SIM cards with Aadhaar Card till February 6, 2018. Mobile Customers have to visit the store for Aadhaar-SIM linking.

3) Aadhaar-Bank account linking

It is now mandatory to link all your bank accounts with Aadhaar. Government has made online process to link the bank accounts with Aadhaar and it can be also done by visiting the bank branch. The last date set for this is March 31, 2018.

4) Aadhaar Ration Card linking

For getting food grains and fuel at a discounted price, it is important to link Ration Card with Aadhaar.

5) Aadhaar Insurance policy linking

As per the government directive, all the insurance policies should be linked to Aadhaar Number. Customers need to log in to the respective websites or the insurance office of the provider.
