LED screen at Rajiv Chowk metro station plays porn video; probe ordered

New Delhi: Passengers at the Rajiv Chowk Metro station were shocked to see a porn video being played on the LED screen which was meant for advertisement display.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has ordered a probe into the matter.

The 30-second video started playing all of a sudden on a large LED screen. While commuters passed by without noticing it, few started filming the adult video in their mobile phones.

A DMRC official said, "The DMRC is not aware of this clip. However,this LED screen was under commissioning and testing by a private contractor and same is still under commissioning. The work is still not completed."

He added, "Action will be taken on those responsible for it."

It may be mentioned that located at Cannaught Place in Central Delhi, the Rajiv Chowk is one of the busiest metro stations in Delhi.
