Lalu Prasad Yadav sustained minor injuries in dais Collapse

Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief president Lalu Prasad Yadav, on Friday, sustained minor injuries when the dais collapsed in Patna.

The incident took place around 0700 hours, on Friday, in a religious event at Digha . The stage, Lalu was sitting on collapsed as large number of devotees climbed up there.

The police said, "He was moving towards his seat suddenly the stage collapsed and Lalu lost his balance and fell on the ground."

He was immediately taken to the Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS) where doctors said that he sustained injuries on his back. Soon after the treatment he was discharged from the hospital.
