After politics, Laloo Yadav targets Silver Screen
Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Lalu Prasad Yadav, on Friday, expressed his desire to act in a movie if it was made on his life. He also asked actor Irrfan Khan to select the heroine of the movie.
The maverick Bihari leader had on Friday met actor Irrfan Khan who was in Patna to promote his upcoming flick ‘Madaari’ and told him that he would like to play the lead role in any movie sketched on his life but selection of a heroine would be his (Irrfan’s) responsibility.
What Yadav stated:
"Hum kisi star actor se kum hai kya ( I am lo less a star than any other silver screen actor ). If any film is made on my life, I would like to play the lead role," said Lalu Prasad Yadav.
- The RJD chief said he was a movie buff during his school and college days.
- He stated that legendary actor Dilip Kumar was his favourite and also showered praise on heroines of yesteryears like Vyjayanthimala and Hema Malini.
- Among the comic actors, he said Johny Walker was the best as he had the best comic timing and could trigger instant laughs through his act.

The Bihar leader had earlier acted in a film titled 'Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav' featuring Suniel Shetty.
