Several teams of 112 are traveling to various places and making people aware about the Savera Yojna through which 112 offers help to the senior citizens in case of any emergency.

"Know your 112'" campaign 

Special awareness drive "Know Your 112" reached Indo-Nepal border in Pilibhit. The drive was carried out under the directions of ADG- 112, Ashok Kumar Singh, focussing and highlighting the services of Dial 112 and how it can be of help to citizens in case of emergency. Villages of Bhundibhud, Sundarnagar, Nauhjala, Ramnagara, Gabiya shehrai were covered on Thursday.

The drive began under the supervision of Adl SP- 112, Mohini Pathak and people were informed about the services of Dial- 112 through nukkad natak, led van etc. Various activities were carried out in order to make the people aware of the services of Dial 112.

Additional SP 112, Mohini Pathak said that people can take help of dial 112 in case of accident, law and order situations and people can also use this service for informing about fire, any natural disaster, medical emergency and other calamities.

People were informed about 'Savera Yojna' and 'Night Escort' service too.

Women can call 112 in case of emergency

Assistance to women will given by 112 in case of any emergency. Women can dial 112 to seek help while travelling alone in night or for any incidence of domestic violence.

People were also informed about cyber crime, fake news and cyber security.
