The Delhi CM while addressing a joint protest rally with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee, he said, "Withdraw the scheme in 3 days or else there will be rebellion." The minister further stated, "Demonetisation is independent India’s biggest scam worth 8 lakh crore." Kejriwal said that the Country’s industrialists owe 8 lakh crore loan to banks and the Modi government has already written off loan worth Rs 1.14 lakh crore.

Supporting Kejriwal, Banerjee also opposed the government and said that people are suffering and there is no one who thinks about them. "I have approached the President for the sake of protecting the constitution," the TMC leader said.

  • People are not being able to feed themselves.
  • People are lined up outside banks but Narendra Modi government allowed Vijay Mallya to run away from country.

What Mamta Banerjee stated:

  • Fix things or withdraw the demonetisation scheme.
  • This is public movement and I am with Arvind Kejriwal in this fight.
  • We are fighters and not afraid of any politician.
