Kawasaki Unveils New W175 Street Bike, Delivery to Begin This Month in India

Kawasaki has maintained its presence in the Indian two-wheeler market for quite some time, capturing the hearts of consumers with bikes that offer robust mileage at affordable prices. Despite facing fierce competition in the market, Kawasaki motorcycles continue to witness increasing demand from customers. Now, the company is gearing up to relaunch its bike with several significant changes. Kawasaki, the renowned two-wheeler manufacturer, revealed its new W175 Street Bike during the ongoing India Bike Week. The bike is expected to hit the market for sales later this month.

Kawasaki's New W175 Street Bike - Look and Design

The latest addition to Kawasaki's lineup, the W175 Street Bike, weighs 135 kilograms. It will be available in Candy Emerald Green and Metallic Moondust Grey color variants. The bike features a retro-themed design with a distinctive multi-reflector headlamp and a semi-double cradle frame with chrome bezels. The motorcycle is equipped with a semi-digital retro-themed instrument cluster, giving it a bold and attractive look. Other changes include round mirrors, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and a large single-piece seat, enhancing the overall aesthetics of the bike.

Power-packed Kawasaki W175 Street Bike

Kawasaki has decided to introduce this motorcycle in retro-classic style to attract the youth. The bike is powered by a 177cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 12.8bhp of power and 13.2Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox for transmission. The W175 Street Bike comes with 17-inch wheels and telescopic forks for suspension, while braking options include a disc and drum brake with a single-channel ABS for added safety. This bike is currently available with a compact 177cc petrol engine. The delivery of the Kawasaki W175 Street Bike is set to commence later this month.

Kawasaki W175 Street Bike Price: INR 1.35 Lakhs

Known for offering some of the most budget-friendly bikes in India, Kawasaki has updated the prices of its bikes following the introduction of new features. The company has announced a starting price of INR 1.35 lakhs ex-showroom for the Indian market. Various financing options are also available for potential buyers.
