New Delhi: There was a massive explosion in Karnataka. A explosive-laden truck exploded on Thursday night in Shivamoga district, about 350 km from the capital city of Bengaluru.

Dynamite blast in Karnataka:

The explosion in the truck was so fast that the glass of people's houses broke in many areas around it. The dead bodies of 8 people have been recovered so far in this terrible accident. It is being claimed that the explosion has caused cracks on the roads and roads have been broken in many places. It is being told that the death toll in this accident may increase.

PM Modi condoles loss of lives:

PM Narendra Modi has also expressed grief over this incident. It was very sad to hear of Shivamoga incident. Condolences to bereaved families. Pray to God to heal the wounded soon. The state government is providing all possible help to the affected.

In Karnataka, the blast took place in the village of Hunasodu in Shivamoga. This powerful explosive filled in the truck was being taken for mining. It exploded at one place to break the stone at around 10:30 pm. Due to which tremors were also felt in Shivamogga and nearby Chikkamagaluru and Davanagere districts.

According to eyewitnesses, the explosion was so fast that the glass on the windows of houses and offices broke and the streets cracked. About this, a user named Akash Jain tweeted about the blast and said that a dynamite blast has occurred in Kallugangur-Abbalgere village near Shivamoga. This blast is at the mine site. Many workers are feared killed in this blast.
