New Delhi: To break the Corona chain, the Jharkhand Government has decided to impose a one-week lockdown.

The government has imposed a 7-day lawndown from the evening of April 22 to the evening of April 29. It has been named Safety Week. Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced this.

Lockdown in Jharkhand:

Earlier, Chief Minister Hemant Soren held a meeting with officials at the CM residence. Many officials including Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh attended it. It has been decided to impose lockdown for one week in the meeting.

Let us know that in the all-party meeting held two days ago, JMM and BJP advocated lockdown. Later this demand also came from the Congress. Former CM Babulal Marandi spoke on the phone and emphasized the need for lockdown to Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Self Lockdown in many cities:

According to Ministry of health, the total number of cases in the country so far is 1,53,21,089. With this, 12,71,29,113 people have been vaccinated in the country so far of which 32,76,555 people were vaccinated on Monday.

On Monday, 58,924 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Maharashtra, while 351 people died due to infection. On Monday, the maximum number of 68,631 cases were reported in the state.
