New Delhi: The wait for all students who appeared in the JEE Advanced 2017 examination is over as the JEE Advanced 2017 result is out.

The JEE Advanced 2017 result was declared at 1000 hours on Sunday by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras.

One can check JEE Advanced 2017 result from the official website jeeadv.ac.in , results.nic.in or results.gov.in.

Students should keep their roll numbers and other important details in hand as it could be asked while accessing the result.

It may be mentioned that more than 2 lakh students appeared for the examination that was held on May 21.

How to Check the result:

  • Students have to click on the result page on the website.
  • The link has already been created.
  • Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available on the online website after the results are declared.
  • The text messages will be sent to the candidates to their registered mobile numbers.
  • According to JEE organisers, individual rank cards will not be sent to candidates.
  • However, qualifying in JEE Advanced (2017), filling up choices and/or participating in the joint seat allocation process do not guarantee a candidate to get admission in IITs.

Through JEE (Advanced), IITs offer admission into undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor's, Integrated Master's or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences, Architecture, or Pharmaceutics.
