Jaipur welcomes French President Emmanuel Macron
He reached Jaipur airport at 2:30 pm after which he went to see the Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar and Hawa mahal with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also held a roadshow at Jantar Mantar.
French President Emmanuel Macron reached Jaipur on Thursday a day before attending the Republic Day celebrations in the national capital Delhi. He is invited as the chief guest of the Republic Day event.
He reached Jaipur airport at 2:30 pm after which he went to see the Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar and Hawa mahal with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also held a roadshow at Jantar Mantar.
A video of this event went viral on social media in which both the ministers were standing over a vehicle and waving hand to the people.
He also met with Kalraj Mishra, governor of the state, External affair minister S. Jaishankar and CM Bhajan Lal Sharma at airport.
During the roadshow, the BJP workers were there on both sides of the road at every point. They welcomed PM Modi and President Macron.
Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari also met with the President Macron.
