Irritated mother glued child’s lips to prevent him from crying

Patna: The status of a mother is not less than that of God, but on contrary, a shameful incident came to light in Bihar where a mother, fed-up and irritated with the baby’s cries, deliberately glued her child’s lips with fevikwik.

When the child's father returned from work, he found a strange atmosphere as he witnessed no sound from the new born. He noticed froth coming out of the baby’s mouth and enquired his wife Shobha about the matter. The wife replied, “The child always keeps crying. I have applied glue on his lips which will prevent him from crying.”

The child was rushed to a hospital nearby and is now out of danger. Since this news has emerged, people are criticizing the mother for such a cruel act.

This, however, is not the first case of parents being cruel towards their children. Recently a video went viral on social media, in which a father was brutally hitting his daughter. Later, it was known that his wife left him and to bring her back, he would beat the child and send those videos to threaten his wife.
