Inferno at Metro House building in Mumbai; No casualties

Mumbai: Massive fire broke out in a building located on the Colaba Causeway in South Mumbai. Over 12 fire tender vehicles are on the spot and are trying to douse the flames.

No casualties have been reported so far.

Metro house building has famous café Mondegar and a McDonald’s outlet.

Two people have been rescued so far, said police. The Colaba Causeway is an extremely busy street as it has both shops and homes and is close to landmarks like the Gateway of India and Mumbai's Taj Hotel.
