New Delhi: The Indian Army on Tuesday successfully test fired the upgraded version of the Brahmos land-attack cruise missile. The striking capability of the missile was analysed in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mobile autonomous launched (MAL) was taken into action in order to launch the Brahmos missile.

Applauding missile's striking capability, a senior army officer said the test firing of the block-III version of the missile puts light on its unmatched fatality of hitting the target.

He admitted that cruise missile successfully hit the land-based target, fulfilling every expectation.

It may be mentioned here that Head constable Prem Sagar of 200th Battalion of the BSF and Naib Subedar Paramjeet Singh of 22 Sikh Regiment of the army were killed and their bodies were mutilated by the Pakistan Army few days ago.

The Border Security Force (BSF) had claimed that the Pakistan army provided cover fire to ‘border action team’ to help them assassinate Indian soldiers in the Krishna Ghati sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.
