New Delhi: Indian Army on Saturday gunned down two Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorists in Hayatpora village of Chadoora in Kashmir's Budgam district on Saturday.

After being informed about the presence of terrorists in the Chadoora area, army launched a search operation.

"The search operation turned into a gunbattle after terrorists opened fire on security forces," said a security official. Terrorists were hiding inside a house. Police has recovered an AK-47 assault rifle.

It may be mentioned here that Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) is the Pakistan-based terrorist organisation.
