Indian Army guns down three terrorists, foils infiltration bid

Srinagar: Indian Army on Monday gunned down three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists in an ambush in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district.

"Based on specific information that three LeT terrorists would be passing through the Wanihama (Brakpora) area of Anantnag in a car, personnel of the Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group (SOG) of the state police laid an ambush and engaged them, killing all three," Defence Ministry spokesman Col. Rajesh Kalia said here.
