Indian Army retaliates to mutilation, destroys four Pakistan posts

Poonch: In retaliation to a mutilation of a soldier, Indian Army on Wednesday destroyed four Pakistani posts along the Line of Control including Poonch, Rajouri, Kel and Machil sector which helps infiltration along the border by giving cover fire.

Pakistan Army on Tuesday chose the shameless way of beheading an Indian soldier.

“The Pakistan army simultaneously opened fire at our patrol. Once the situation stabilised, the three bodies were found in the search operation. One was badly mutilated," army had said.

“Retribution will be heavy for this cowardly act of mutilating a soldier's body,” it added.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar condemned the attack.

Around 300 incidents of firing and shelling along the LoC and the International Border by Pakistani troops have been witnessed since Indian army conducted surgical strikes on terrorist launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on September 29.

The Indian army has also raided many places and recovered new denomination currency notes with several alleged terrorists.
