New Delhi: Vaccination program is being run on a large scale to eliminate and prevent the spread of deadly corona virus in the country. The big thing is that the number of vaccinations in the country has crossed 95 crores. According to the data of the Co-Win portal, more than 44 lakh doses of the vaccine had been given till 7 pm yesterday. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that India will create history in the coming days.

Tweeting the vaccination figures, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said, "World's largest successful vaccination campaign in full swing. India has completed the figure of 95 crore corona vaccine doses. Now the country is moving towards giving 100 crore vaccine doses. Get vaccinated early and encourage your friends and family to do the same.

At the same time, more than 46 thousand doses of vaccine were given in the national capital yesterday. A total of 25,173 people were given vaccine doses in the Maha Camps organized by the Delhi government, out of which 13,662 people took the first dose.

The highest dose of the vaccine was given in Northeast Delhi. After this 3,207 doses were given in southeast Delhi, 2,831 in west Delhi and 2,427 in Shahdara. According to government data, more than 1.90 crore doses have been given in Delhi since the start of the vaccination campaign on January 16. More than 65 lakh people have taken both doses of the vaccine.

The nationwide immunization drive was launched on 16 January with the first phase immunization of health workers (HCWs). The vaccination of the personnel posted on the front lines against Corona started on 2 February. The next phase of corona vaccination started from March 1 for people above 60 years of age and people of 45 years and above suffering from other diseases. The country started vaccination for all people above 45 years of age from 1 April.
