When the tricolor flag was hoisted on the Red Fort for the first time in Delhi on August 15, 1947, after being liberated from the slavery of the British, no one had imagined how the future of this country would be in the coming times, but while climbing the stairs of success, India achieved independence is about to complete 75 years.

The country is going to celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence. From 1947 to 2021, the country saw many big changes, many changes were recorded in the pages of history, some faces emerged in this change, which the country can never forget. In the last 7 decades, people from all walks of life have made an important contribution to the progress of the country, the country salutes their efforts, you also know about those faces and the work done by them.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad

T N Seshan

To the credit of a major change in the electoral process, in the 90s, there was a joke in India that Indian politicians are afraid of only two things, one God and the other TN Seshan. Seshan rose to the highest post of the Indian bureaucracy, the Cabinet Secretary, with the image of a good manager. After being relieved from the post of Chief Election Commissioner, Seshan formed the 'Deshbhakt Trust'. Also contested the presidential election in 1997.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel

Popularly known as Sardar Patel, was an Indian statesman. He served as the first Deputy Prime Minister of India. He was an Indian barrister, and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress who played a leading role in the country's struggle for independence and guided its integration into a united, independent nation.[3] He was one of the conservative members of the Indian National Congress. In India and elsewhere, he was often called Sardar, meaning "chief" in Hindi, Urdu, and Persian. He acted as Home Minister during the political integration of India and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947.

Chakravarti Rajagopalachari

The pinnacle of Indian politics, Chakravarti Rajagopalachari, also known as Rajaji, was a famous lawyer, writer and philosopher. He was the first Indian Governor General. Due to his wonderful and influential personality, Rajaji is considered as Chanakya of modern India.

Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar

Also known as Babasaheb Ambedkar ([bʌbəsɑheb ɑmbɛdkɑə]), was an Indian jurist, economist, politician and social reformer, who inspired the Dalit Buddhist movement and campaigned against social discrimination towards the untouchables (Dalits). He was British India's Minister of Labour in Viceroy's Executive Council, Chairman of the Constituent Drafting committee, independent India's first Minister of Law and Justice, and considered the chief architect of the Constitution of India.

Saina Nehwal

She is an Indian professional badminton singles player. A former world no. 1, she has won over 24 international titles, which includes eleven Superseries titles. Although she reached the world's 2nd in the 2009, it was only in 2015 that she was able to attain the world no. 1 ranking, thereby becoming the only female player from India and overall the second Indian player – after Prakash Padukone – to achieve this feat.[8] She has represented India three times in the Olympics, winning a bronze medal in her second appearance.

Dara Singh Randhawa

(born Deedar Singh Randhawa; 19 November 1928 – 12 July 2012) was an Indian professional wrestler, actor and politician. He started acting in 1952 and was the first sportsman to be nominated to the Rajya Sabha (upper house) of India.[3] He worked as Hindi and Punjabi film producer, director and writer, and he acted in films and television. He is known for his undefeated worldwide streak in wrestling and later being a successful movie star. His role of Hanuman in the film Bajrangbali (1976) and in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan made him popular.[4] Singh was inducted into the Legacy Category of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018.

Devendra Jhajharia's Golden Double

Even though India got only two medals in the Rio Olympics, but in the Paralympic Games, India won 4 medals. Devendra Jhajharia again won the gold medal in javelin throw and became the first Indian to win a medal in two separate Paralympics. In the high jump, T. Mariyappan won the gold medal and Varun Bhati won the bronze medal and showed how to jump high despite the disability.

Ram Manohar Lohia

Fearless freedom fighter, staunch Gandhian and politician of socialist orientation, Lohia fought all his life against the economic and casteist inequality of the country, the impression of his socialist style is visible even on today's politicians. Lohia had a clear belief that no society can progress unless half of its population is provided with the freedom and opportunity to participate in the process of development.

Sam Manek Shaw

Sam Manekshaw's popularity reached its peak after India's victory in the Bangladesh War in 1971. Indira Priyadarshini Gandhi

She was an Indian politician and a central figure of the Indian National Congress.[2] She was the first and, to date, only female prime minister of India. Indira Gandhi was the daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India. She served as prime minister from January 1966 to March 1977 and again from January 1980 until her assassination in October 1984, making her the second longest-serving Indian prime minister after her father.

Raj Kapoor

He was an Indian actor, film producer and film director who worked in Hindi cinema.[3][4] He received multiple accolades, including three National Film Awards and 11 Filmfare Awards in India. The Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award is named after Kapoor. He was a two-time nominee for the Palme d'Or grand prize at the Cannes Film Festival for his films Awaara (1951) and Boot Polish (1954). His performance in Awaara was ranked as one of the top ten greatest performances of all time by Time magazine.[5] His films attracted worldwide audiences, particularly in Asia and Europe.

The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 1971 for his contributions to the arts.[6] India's highest award in cinema, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, was bestowed on him in 1987 by the Government of India.

Dharamdev Pishorimal Anand (26 September 1923 – 3 December 2011), better known as Dev Anand, was an Indian film actor, writer, director and producer known for his work in Hindi cinema, through a career that spanned over six decades. He was one of the most successful actors in the Indian film industry.

At the 50th edition of the International Film Festival of India (2019), he was honoured with the Icon of Global Jubilee award.[5] He is the second-highest grossing actor in Tamil cinema history, behind M. G. Ramachandran.[6] At the 67th National Film Awards, he was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
