I-T recovers 12 fake accounts in Krishna Nagar's Axis Bank branch
The income tax department on Friday reportedly found twelve fake accounts in Krishnagar branch of Axis Bank .
New Delhi: The income tax department on Friday reportedly found twelve fake accounts in Krishnagar branch of Axis Bank .
The officials said that the I-T traced these accounts as the black money holders had used multiple branches of axis Bank for transactions.
- The search operation was conducted by the Noida unit of Income Tax department.
- The Enforcement Directorate would also join the investigation along with the I-T Department.

It may be mentioned that on Thursday last, IT raided Noida branch of Axis Bank which unveiled 20 fake accounts with the deposition of Rs 60 crores.
It may also be recalled that post-demonetisation, raids on as many as 50 branches of 10 banks across the nation were carried out by the ED to keep an eye on the account holders who deposited large amounts in single transaction.
