International Court of Justice to pronounce verdict on Jadhav Today

New Delhi: The International Court of Justice will pronounce its judgement on Kulbhushan Jadhav, an Indian who has been put in a Pakistani jail on false charges, on Thursday.

His case has been already heard by an 11-judge bench of the top international court . The verdict will be given at 3:30 pm (IST), according to reports received here on Wednesday,

The country had approached the ICJ as the Pakistan military court had ordered his execution, accusing him of spying in that country.

The order was given in violation of the Vienna Convention which provided for consular access which was denied in his case.

The trial in his case was 'farcical' as he was convicted without any concrete evidence against him.
