IAF Jet crashes in Rajasthan's Barmer; Pilots safe, 3 injured

Jaipur: A Sukhoi 30 aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Wednesday crashed near an air base in Rajasthan's Barmer, leaving at least three people injured.

Both the pilots have managed to eject safely. The plane, which was on a routine sortie, was about to land at the Uttarlai Air Force Base.

The three people injured have been identified as Narayan Ram, his daughter-in-law Dalli and grandson Hanuman. All three have been rushed to the nearby hospital.

Half-a-dozen houses in the village and two motorcycles were destroyed.
