New Delhi: Honeypreet Insan, the controversial adopted daughter of rape convict Ram Rahim, is likely to surrender before the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday.

Talking to some news channels, Honeypreet alias Priyanka Taneja, claimed innocence against the charges levelled against her and said that she is in great shock and depression.

Honeypreet, who is absconding for over a month now, said that she was in India and never went to Nepal as it was reported by few news channels.

She is wanted by the police in connection with the violence that broke out in Panchkula in August the day a court there held Ram Rahim guilty on charges of rape.

Honeypreet described her relationship with Ram Rahim as 'pure' as any other father-daughter relation.

She said, "Truth will prevail and the world will see this. I'm pained and shocked, how can the world do this to us? We are great patriots and we love India."
