New Delhi: There has been an incident of landslide near Jeori on National Highway-5 in Kinnaur. A video of this has also surfaced in which some vehicles have been damaged. However, no casualties have been reported.

Landslide in Himachal's Kinnaur:

Traffic has been affected after the landslide. The machinery of the Highway Authority is busy in restoring the road. Incidents of landslides are happening continuously in Kinnaur district. Earlier, many people lost their lives due to landslides in Batseri and Nigulsari.

Earlier, on National Highway-5, there was a big accident due to the breaking of the mountain near Nigulsari. In which more than twenty people lost their lives. The work of extricating the dead bodies of people was done by running a search operation for several days.

Traffic on the national highway was affected after a portion of a mountain collapsed at Jury near Rampur in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla district. For the past few days, stones were falling on this road by breaking. But on Monday morning, a large part of the mountain broke and started falling into the ditch.

Part of National Highway-5 has been damaged. Witnesses present on the spot made a video of the incident. A large number of police forces, including the SDM of Rampur, are present at the spot.

National Highway blocked:

The mountain is broken on the Chandrabhaga river in the Pattan valley of the tribal district of Lahaul-Spiti. Several tons of debris and rocks had fallen into the river due to heavy landslides. Due to this the flow of water was stopped for two hours and the water level increased by 20 times. Amidst the chaos, people of Tadang, Jasrath, Nalda and Junda villages settled on the banks of the river fled to safer places to save their lives.
