India has a rich history in the field of education, with Guru Purnima being celebrated since ancient times. This day, dedicated to Sage Ved Vyasa, who authored the epic Mahabharata, is a time-honored tradition. Additionally, on September 5th, India observes Teachers' Day in honor of former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

Great teachers like Acharya Chanakya, Swami Dayanand Saraswati, Savitribai Phule, Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Munshi Premchand, among others, have been role models in Indian education history. Today, we shed light on some of India's current young educators who are walking in the footsteps of these great teachers, bringing remarkable changes to the field of education.

  1. Babar Ali: Hailing from a small village in Murshidabad district, West Bengal, Babar Ali began playing the role of a teacher at an age when most children are still learning to read and write. At the age of 9, he started teaching other children. Today, at the age of 30, Babar Ali is educating over 500 underprivileged children in his self-established school, employing ten other teachers. He has received numerous awards for his dedication to education.

  2. Mamta Mishra: A government school teacher, Mamta Mishra's teaching methods impressed India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to the extent that he praised her on his radio program, "Mann Ki Baat." Mamta Mishra, who teaches at a government school in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has elevated the education of her students to the level of private school students.

  3. Anand Kumar and Super 30: Anand Kumar, based in Patna, Bihar, is a renowned teacher known for his "Super 30" program. Under this initiative, he selects 30 hardworking students from underprivileged backgrounds and prepares them for the IIT-JEE entrance exam. Anand Kumar has transformed the lives of hundreds of students and earned recognition from the Indian government, receiving the Padma Shri award.

  4. RK Srivastava, the Mathematics Guru: Hailing from Bihar, RK Srivastava, known as the "Mathematics Guru," has gained worldwide recognition for his unique teaching style. Charging only one rupee as tuition fee, he has guided over 540 students to become engineers. A search for "Mathematics Guru" on Google yields his name as the top result.

  5. Aditya Kumar, the Bicycle Guru: Aditya Kumar, popularly known as the "Cycle Guru," is a science graduate who acts as a true education crusader. He reaches places where schools are inaccessible, cycling around 60-65 kilometers daily to teach underprivileged children in makeshift settlements near Lucknow. Aditya, born into a poor family himself, has been engaged in this noble endeavor since 1995.

  6. Alakh Pandey: Alakh Pandey, the founder of the education platform 'Physics Wallah,' hails from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. He shares educational videos on YouTube and prepares students for engineering and medical entrance exams, namely JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, and NEET. His YouTube channel, 'Physics Wallah,' has more than 10 million subscribers.

  7. Vikas Divyakirti: Vikas Divyakirti, the founder of Drishti IAS coaching institute, is well-known among IAS aspirants. His coaching institute has branches across the country and offers online courses as well. His YouTube channel, 'Drishti IAS,' boasts over 10 million subscribers.

  8. Awadh Ojha Sir: Awadh Ojha Sir, known for his YouTube videos related to UPSC exam preparation, is a popular name among UPSC aspirants. He often uploads videos related to UPSC preparation on YouTube, and his motivational videos are highly appreciated by students.

  9. Khan Sir: Khan Sir, famous as the 'Khan Sir,' initiated online education during the COVID-19 pandemic. His YouTube channel became widely popular, reaching even remote villages. Khan Sir's 'Khan GS Research Centre' also conducts offline classes.

  10. Dear Sir: 'Dear Sir,' a YouTube channel run by Mohammad Kasif and Vakas Malik, has gained immense popularity. With over one crore subscribers, their channel provides extensive content on English and Math concepts.
