Gun battle breaks between terrorists and security forces 

Srinagar: A gun-battle broke out between the security forces and terrorists in Langate area of Handwara district of Jammu and Kashmir in early morning on Monday.

According to the defence sources, the army had received the tip-off that at least two terrorists were hiding in the area. The area has been cordoned off by the army.

Search operation launched by the police and army was still underway.
