Production of Remdesivir:

In fact, the government plans to double the production of Remdesivir injection useful in the treatment of corona, to 3 lakh vials daily in the next 15 days.

Mansukh Mandaviya on Remdesivir Production:

In a video message on Twitter, Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers Mansukh L. Mandaviya said that the process has already started to increase the production of Remedisvir.

He said, "We are trying to increase the production of Remdesivir injection. At the same time, it is also our attempt to reduce its price. We are currently producing 1.5 lakh vials of injection. In the next 15 days, production will be 3 lakh vials daily. ''

Approval for 20 plants:

The minister said that the government has approved 20 plants for the production of antiviral drugs. He said that Remdesivir is currently being produced in 20 plants in the country. Mandaviya said, "In the next few days, we are trying to produce maximum production of Remdesivir. Pharmaceutical companies have also reduced the retail price of this drug and this will benefit the patients.

It is noteworthy that the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority on Saturday said that Cadila Healthcare, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and Cipla have reduced the price of their brand-name Remedisivir Injection (100mg / vial).

According to the Health Ministry, 1 crore 29 lakh 53 thousand 821 people have been recovered in the country so far, while there are 19 lakh 29 thousand 329 active cases at this time. There have been 2,73,810 new cases of Carona virus infection in the last 24 hours, while 1619 people have died.
