A German lady molested, robbed at Chamundi Hills in Mysore

Mysore: A German woman was allegedly molested and robbed by an unidentified person at Chamundi hills in Mysore (also known as Mysuru).

The woman was returning to her flat from Chamundi Hills, when a man grabbed and molested her. He also robbed cash from her purse. The incident took place when she was returning home after a film shoot on Monday last.

The woman also suffered minor injuries. She was taken to nearby hospital for first-aid.

The woman said, "I went to hills to watch sunset where a man came and assaulted me. He also snatched my cell phone. I managed to escape and went to police station."

According to police inspector BS Prakash, "A case has been registered under sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC)."

The police have also prepared the sketch of the accused.

It may be mentioned that the incident took place five days after a Malayalam film actress Bhavana had been abducted and molested by unidentified men, on February 17, in Kochi.

The men stopped her car, forcefully entered and molested her near Athani in Angamaly till the car reached Palarivattom.
