Geeta Press President Radheshyam Khemka passes away
Radheshyam has performed his role in Geeta Press for 40 years and edited many religious magazines.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and many veterans have expressed grief over the demise of Shri Radheshyam Khemka, President of Geeta Press. The PM tweeted and wrote, 'The death of Radheshyam Khemka ji, the president of Geeta Press and who has brought Sanatan literature to the people, is very sad. Khemka was active in various social functions throughout his life. My condolences to his family and fans in this hour of mourning. om Shanti!

At the same time, Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted, 'I am deeply saddened by the demise of Shri Radheshyam Khemka, President of Geeta Press. Khemka ji became the conductor of Sanatan culture throughout his life and took the work of transporting the ancient tradition of India to the world. I express my deepest condolences to his family and well-wishers. ॐ Shanti shanti shanti.
Please tell that Radheshyam has performed his role in Geeta Press for 40 years and edited many religious magazines. His father Sitaram Khemka originally came from Munger district of Bihar. He was associated with Marwadi Seva Sangh, Mumukshu Bhavan, Shriram Laxmi Marwadi Hospital Godoulia, Birla Hospital Machodari, Kashi Goshala Trust. He was also involved in the paper business.
Please tell that Radheshyam Khemka (87), president of Geeta Press Gorakhpur and editor of the magazine Kalyan, passed away on April 4. He breathed his last at his residence at Kedar Ghat. The last rites were performed at Harishchandra Ghat. The son Raja Ram Khemka offered fire.
