Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India and stalwart of Indian politics, breathed his last on Monday (August 31). He was 84. The veteran politician was found to be coronavirus positive when he went to Army Hospital on Monday for another procedure. At the hospital, he underwent surgery for a blood clot in brain.

He was sick for the past few days. His health was only getting worse. His condition has worsened on Monday. At the same time, Army Hospital said that Pranab Mukherjee was under septic shock due to lung infection.

Let us tell you that former President Pranab Mukherjee was hospitalized for the last 20 days and since brain surgery, he was constantly undergoing a serious condition. He was being treated under the supervision of a team of specialist doctors.

Former President Pranab Mukherjee was hospitalized on the afternoon of August 10 in connection with a surgery. During the investigation, he was confirmed to be corona infected. Since then there was no improvement in his health. Pranab Mukherjee has been the 13th President of the country from 2012 to 2017.

Pranab Mukherjee was admitted to Army Hospital in Delhi. He underwent brain surgery few days ago, after which he was put on ventilator. Before the surgery, he had a corona examination. Also, which was also reported positive. Thereafter, he developed lung infection and is being treated for the same, doctors said.

With a political career of five decades, Mukherjee, a senior Congress leader served as the 13th President of India from 2012 to 2017.
