Five foreign terrorists killed in Kashmir

Five foreign terrorists, suspected to have been sent by Pakistan, were killed in a fierce gun battle with security personnel in Kupwara area in Jammu & Kashmir.

The terrorists were gunned down in a joint operation conducted by the Indian Army and the state police.

According to ADGP of Kashmir police, security forces had received an information about hiding of terrorists in this area. After this a joint operation was started.

Kashmir zone police said through a tweet that some movement was seen after the special input of Kupwara police in Jumagund area of LoC of Kupwara district. A gun battle ensued after the security forces surrounded the terrorists.

Police sources said that the security forces had got a tip off that Pakistan had sent these terrorists into the state. The killing of the terrorists was a big success for the security forces in the state.
