Fire breaks out at chemical factory in Maharashtras  Akola district

Mumbai: A massive fire broke out in a chemical factory located at Akola district in Maharashtra. No causalities has been reported yet.

According to the officials, more than 12 fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to douse the fire.

"The situation is under control," said the senior police official.

  • The exact reason of the fire is yet not known.

  • Police and concerned authorities are investigating the incident.

More details are still awaited.

It may be mentioned that, on Friday, at least six employees were killed when a fire broke out at bakery shop in Pune. It is suspected that the reason of fire was short circuit.
