A fire broke out today during the Bhasma Aarti in the sanctum sanctorum of Mahakal Temple located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, which was extinguished. 14 people including the priest have been injured in this accident, out of which the condition of 6 is critical. Giving information about the incident, Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh said that the fire has been brought under control and orders have been given to investigate the incident. About 30 years ago there was a stampede in Mahakal temple. About 35 people had died during that period. After this, once two people died due to a tree falling in the temple premises.
