New Delhi: During the monsoon session of Parliament, the Modi government had brought an ordinance related to agriculture, against which there is anger among farmers across the country. Food donors opposing the Agriculture Bill have called for a Bharat Bandh against it today.

Bharat Bandh against Farm Bill:

During this time, various farmer organizations, including the Bharatiya Kisan Union, have announced to block all over the country today. It has also started. Farmers have come on the road and stopped the road at many places.

In Chilla area near Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border point, Police is looking after the situation. In wake of the nationwide protest called by farmers today against Agriculture Bills passed in the Parliament.

Furious agitation by farmers continues in Haryana Punjab, Uttar Pradesh. Annadata came out on the streets and blocked the national highway. In this, the most special effect of the Bharat Bandh is in Hajipur. NH 19 has been jammed near Gandhi Setu.

Since morning, supporters of Pappu Yadav's Jan Adhikar Party are on the road. The Bharat bandh supporters closed the NH 19. Sloganeering is being done by burning tires on the roads.

Apart from this, farmers have also started the rail stop movement since yesterday. The railway badly affected due to this three-day movement. The farmers sat on the train tracks and stopped the movement of trains. In such a situation many trains have been canceled.

Farm bill passed by Modi Govt:

The two bills which have been passed by the Modi government in both houses of Parliament, have farmers angry. This includes the first Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Simplification) Bill 2020 and the second Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Price Assurance and Agreements Bill 2020 on Agricultural Services. Farmers are on the road with both these bills.
