Jammu: In a gunfight with security forces, four militants have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, official said.
Police said that Hajin Payeen village was surrounded by massive security personnel after information about presence of militants was received.

The forces retaliated, leading to the encounter, the official said.
"As the cordon was tightened, the militants who were hiding opened fire. That triggered an encounter in which four militants have been killed," an informed source said.
Reports from the area mentioned that the slain militants belonged to Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) outfit.
