Digvijaya Singh accuses Indian Army of killing Kashmir people

New Delhi: Adding another gaffe to his long list, Congress senior leader Digvijaya Singh on Sunday said that Kashmir people are being killed by both the Indian Army and terrorists.

"Kashmiris are in turmoil, constantly targeted and killed either by terrorists or security forces," said Digivijaya Singh in a programme in Jodhpur.

He said since the formation of PDP-BJP government there is a sense of insecurity among people.

“We had managed to get peace in Kashmir, if you see from 2005 to 2013-2014, only for a year between 2010-11, there was some uncertainty. Rest, the valley had proper elections and situation was under control,” said the senior Congress leader.

Digvijaya said if India wants to rule over Kashmir, it has to win the hearts of its people.
