Third death on Signature bridge in two days

New Delhi: A man was killed while his cousin was injured after their bike skid on the Signature Bridge on Saturday morning.

According to the Police, it was found that two motorcycle riders on a Splendor were coming from Nangloi has skid and hit the driver.

The deceased identified as Shankar was riding the bike. Both, the deceased and his cousin (Deepak) were rushed to the hospital where doctors declared Shankar as dead.

Deepak suffered knee injury and is out of danger now. He said both were wearing helmets but Shankar's helmet fell away and his head got stuck with the divider.

This was the third death in two days on signature bridge.

It is to be mentioned that, on Friday last, two aspiring doctors lost their lives in a similar crash.
