According to media reports, 4,189 incidents of stubble burning were registered in neighboring states on Sunday. Its share in Delhi's pollution was 48 percent. This is the highest share of pollution from stubble in this season. Reports says that due to the strong winds blowing from the north-west direction, the stubble smoke is rapidly dissolving in the air of Delhi making it poisonous.

Let us tell you that even after the ban on firecrackers, there was a lot of fireworks in Delhi on the night of Diwali. In Punjab and Haryana, farmers did the rest thing by burning stubble. Due to this, there has been a thick layer of haze in the Delhi-NCR region for the last four days. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a hope of getting relief from the haze in the next few days.

It is noteworthy that the Air Quality Index (AQI) between zero and 50 is 'good', 51 to 100 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 'moderate', 201 to 300 'poor', 301 to 400 Between 401 and 500 is considered 'extremely bad' and 'severe'.
