Dadri lynching: VHP seeks apology from UP govt, SRK and Aamir

Noida: Citing the forensic report that claimed the flesh found in Mohammad Akhlaq’s house was of ‘cow or its progeny’, the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Wednesday demanded apology from Uttar Pradesh government, Bollywood actors Shahrukh and Aamir Khan as well as everyone who had returned awards in fallout of the Dadri lynching case.

“The forensic report was intentionally concealed by the UP government for six months. They kept saying that it was not beef at Akhlaq’s house. Now, the truth has finally revealed,” said senior VHP leader Surendra Jain in a statement.

“The entire episode was used as a ‘tool’ to malign the image of Hindus. Now, the government should apologize for defaming and tormenting the Hindu community over the issue. Also, the people who returned their awards should be shameful enough to apologize or at least accept that it was done as a part of conspiracy to portray Hindus as intolerant,” he added.
