Intensive brainstorming is going on to declare candidates for the remaining ten seats of BJP. In the meeting held with JP Nadda and Amit Shah in Delhi, the names for six out of ten seats have been agreed upon. Now consensus is yet to be reached on four seats. CM Bhajanlal Sharma and State President CP Joshi will once again be called to Delhi for talks on four seats. There is a possibility that these four seats will be discussed on the day of the Central Election Committee meeting.

According to highly placed sources associated with the party, the party has decided its candidates for Sriganganagar, Karauli-Dholpur, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Bhilwara, Jhunjhunu, Jaipur city, while the issue is in Rajsamand, Ajmer, Jaipur Rural and Dausa is still in line. The names of veteran leaders like Rajendra Rathod, Satish Poonia are running on these seats. It is being told that both the CM and the State President will be called to Delhi to discuss four seats. Probably now both will be called on the same day on which the Central Election Committee meeting will be held. Before this meeting, there will be churning on four seats and the decision on giving tickets to veteran leaders will be taken only after the consent of PM Narendra Modi.

According to party sources, out of ten seats, women's names are most discussed on two-three seats. Among these, names of women have been discussed on Rajsamand, Dausa, Jhunjhunu and Ajmer seats. There are a few more seats also, in which women's names have been discussed. Now it will be decided in the Central Election Committee itself whether women should be made to contest on two seats or three.

Finalizing the ticket on Dausa seat is no less than a challenge for BJP. From here, Agriculture Minister Kirori Lal Meena is trying to get the ticket for his brother Jagmohan Meena, while the current MP Jaskaur Meena wants her daughter Archana Meena to be given the ticket in his place.
