New Delhi: The third phase of anti-coronation vaccination campaign has started in the country from today ie 1st April, 2021. In this, all the people above 45 years of age will be vaccinated. There are both pre-registration and on the spot registration for vaccination. Earlier on Wednesday, the Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan reviewed the current status of the vaccination campaign, its pace and preparations ahead.

Corona vaccination in India:

Let us know that the Corona vaccination campaign started across the country from January 16, which is now going to step into the third phase. In the vaccination campaign, health workers, frontline warriors, elderly and people suffering from serious diseases have been vaccinated till now. The beneficiary will be required to carry an Aadhaar card or other identity card for vaccination.

Vaccination for above 45 years:

According to the report, the total population of people above 45 years of age in the country is around 34 crores. The Center has asked the states and union territories to vaccinate all the people of this group within 15 days.

However, some of these people have been vaccinated so far, as health workers and frontline workers are also included in this age group. Also, vaccination is already going on for senior citizens, who are above 45 years of age and suffering from serious diseases.

Let me tell you that in the last days, the central government had said that more than 88 percent of those who died from corona infection are more than 45 years of age. According to media reports, so far five crore corona doses have been given in India, on an average 30 lakh doses are being given every day. Now when another phase of corona vaccination is starting.
