Coronavirus Outbreak: More than 2.5 Lakh COVID-19 new cases, 385 deaths

New Delhi: Amidst the rapidly increasing cases of Corona and Omicron in the country, many states have tightened the restrictions further. More than 2.5 lakh daily cases of covid are being registered for several days. There have been 2,58,089 new cases of corona virus in India in the last 24 hours, while 385 people died due to this pandemic. During this, 1,51,740 corona patients were recovered.

Corona latest Update:

There have been 13,113 fewer cases in the country than yesterday. Earlier on Saturday, there were 2,71,202 new cases of covid-19 in the country. At the same time, the figures of Omicron variants of corona virus have increased to 8,209. According to experts, it is not possible to do genome sequencing of each sample but emphasized that this wave of virus is mainly due to Omicron.


Corona spread in Delhi-NCR:

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij had said that the covid-19 infection rate is high in three districts adjoining Delhi. He blamed the national capital for the increase in the cases of corona in these districts. Responding to this, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has said that all these are political things. He said, 'I can tell how many people of Haryana are getting positive in Delhi.'

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has said that there is a decrease in the cases of corona. He told that the cases are decreasing in Delhi as compared to yesterday. Today about 14-15 thousand cases will come. Apart from this, while giving information on the status of the vaccine, he said that 100 percent of the eligible population has been given the first vaccine of covid while 80 percent of the people have also taken the second dose. Booster doses have also been given to 1.28 lakh people.

In Tamil Nadu, the first vaccine of covid-19 has been given to 100 percent school students between 15 and 18 years. State Health Minister MA Subramaniam gave this information.
