Coronavirus Outbreak: India logs 90,928 new COVID-19 cases, 325 Deaths

The total number of Omicron cases in the country has increased to 2,630.

New Delhi: There were 90,928 new cases of corona virus in the country in the last 24 hours. There were 19,206 recoveries and 325 people died of corona. After which the total number of cases has gone up to 3,51,09,286. At the same time, the number of active cases is 2,85,401.

At the same time, a total of 3,43,41,009 people were recovered. After 325 deaths, there have been a total of 4,82,876 deaths. If we talk about vaccination, so far 1,48,67,80,227 people have been vaccinated in the country.

The total number of Omicron cases in the country has increased to 2,630. Maharashtra and Delhi have the highest number of 797 and 465 cases of Omicron. Out of 2,630 patients of Omicron, 995 patients have recovered. The Ministry of Health gave this information.


8 deaths in Delhi:

Delhi has recorded the highest number of deaths in a single day as compared to the months of September, October and November last year, of the eight people who died in the last 24 hours, seven were above 60 and most had serious illness. Three had received both doses of the covid vaccine.

"Of the eight people who died in the last 24 hours, three had received both shots of the covid vaccine, two were over 75 years of age and had several other age-related complications and ailments," an official said. The age of the patient was 59 years but he was suffering from a severe chronic disease.The rest were between 60 and 75 years of age.
