New Delhi: The Maharashtra government has decided that the system of home isolation will be abolished amidst the dwindling cases of Corona. Now all the patients will have to go to the Covid Care Center.

In fact, the government has come to know that the rules in home isolation are not strictly followed and in many cases the infection is spreading due to patients. Because of which this decision has been taken.

No Home Isolation in Maharashtra:

In this regard, Health Minister Rajesh Tope gave important information. He said that 'districts which are in the Red Zone, we have asked them to cancel the option of home isolation and to increase the Covid Care Center in these districts. We have asked them to increase the bed capacity.

Rules changed for 18 districts:

He said that we have asked these districts to focus on testing. Focus should be on high risk contacts of positive patients. Tope said that in all the districts, we have asked the collectors to conduct fire and electric audit of government hospitals. After submitting the report, we will provide them the money.

On the other hand, the Relief and Rehabilitation Minister of Maharashtra Vijay Vadettivar said on Monday that the government is considering loosening the restrictions like lockdown implemented due to covid-19, in districts outside the 'Red Zone'.

Talking to journalists, the minister said that 15 districts (out of a total of 36) fall in the 'Red Zone' (with more cases) and restrictions could be tightened there.

The minister said, 'Where there has been a decrease in covid-19 cases, there has been a demand for relaxation of restrictions. The government can relax restrictions in those districts where cases are falling. A decision will be taken after taking stock of the situation for four-five days.
