Coronavirus: Single-day rise of 6,915 infections, 180 fatalities

New Delhi: The effect of the third wave of corona infection in the country is almost over. The Ministry of Health has issued an update regarding Corona. According to the report, after three months on Tuesday, the least number of cases of corona have been reported. The Health Ministry said that in the last 24 hours, 6,915 new cases of corona have come. Let us tell you that before this, the lowest cases of corona were reported on 27 December. On December 27, 6,358 new corona patients were found.

Corona Latest Updates:

The Health Ministry said that 180 people of Corona have died during the last 24 hours. Apart from this, 16,864 patients have also been cured. The active corona patients in the country have come down to 92,472. A total of 4,23,24,550 people have been cured so far. Apart from this, 5,14,023 people have lost their lives from Corona.


The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that 9,01,647 sample tests were done for corona virus in India yesterday, till yesterday a total of 76,83,82,993 sample tests have been done.

Corona Vaccination in India:

The positivity rate has also come down to around 1 percent now. Yesterday 8,013 new cases of corona were reported and 119 people died. If we talk about vaccination, so far 1,77,70,25,914 people have got corona vaccine in the country. After adding the figures of 180 deaths in the last 24 hours, the total number of death cases in the country has gone up to 5,14,023.

The Health Ministry said that out of those who have died due to corona virus infection so far, more than 70 percent of the patients also had other diseases. The ministry said on its website that its figures are being matched with the data of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
