Coronavirus: India sees 5,476 new COVID-19, 158 fatalities

Coronavirus Updates: In the last 24 hours, 5,476 new cases of corona were reported in the country and 9,754 people were cured of corona. At the same time, 158 people died of corona. After which a total of 5,15,036 deaths have been registered in the country and the total cases have gone up to 4,29,62,953. Since 9,754 recovery, the total recovery cases in the country have gone up to 4,23,88,475. If we talk about Active Cases in India, then there have been 59,442 cases in the country.

Corona in India:

There has been a decline in the case of corona in the country since yesterday. Yesterday there were 5,921 new cases of corona and 289 people died. After which the total death toll had gone up to 5 lakh 14 thousand 878. If we talk about vaccination, then yesterday 1,78,55,66,940 people were vaccinated in the country. Whereas today 1,78,83,79,249 people Vaccine given.

On Saturday, 274 new cases of covid-19 were reported in the national capital Delhi, while the infection rate was 0.58 percent. No patient has died due to infection in the national capital. The death toll in Delhi is stable at 26,134. With the arrival of 274 new cases of covid-19 in Delhi, the number of infected here increased to 18,61,463. It has been said in the bulletin that a day ago, 47,652 tests of covid-19 were done. There are 10,747 beds for covid patients in Delhi hospitals and out of these 120 patients are admitted.

The active cases of corona in Chandigarh are now only 83. The positivity rate for the last 7 days has come down to 0.81. On Saturday, only 10 new cases of corona were reported in the city and the positivity rate was 0.49. In the last 24 hours, samples of 2025 people were taken. 25 new patients have also been cured. In the last one week, on an average, 12 new cases came daily.
