Coronavirus: Over 67 thousand cases reported in 24 hours

New Delhi: The situation of corona epidemic in India is improving rapidly. There is a steady decline in the daily cases and the recovery rate continues to rise.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health at 8 am on Thursday, 67 thousand 208 new cases of corona were reported in the last 24 hours. At the same time, one lakh three thousand 570 patients recovered from the infection during this period and 2330 people died.

According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 2,97,00,313 cases have been reported in the country so far. The total number of deaths has gone up to 3,81,903. So far 2,84,91,670 patients have recovered from the infection.

The total number of positive cases is 8,26,740. According to the ministry, the active cases of corona virus in the country are the lowest after 71 days. The daily positivity rate is 3.48 percent. Active cases are 2.78 percent of the total cases. At the same time, the recovery rate is 95.93 percent and the death rate is 1.29 percent.

Over 38 Thousand cases drop:

A decline of 38,692 cases has been registered in the caseload of Corona in the last 24 hours. The number of people recovering from daily new cases is increasing for 35 consecutive days. The Health Ministry informed that 34,63,961 doses of corona vaccine were administered in the country in the last 24 hours.

So far, a total of 26,55,19,251 doses of corona vaccine have been given. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 19,31,249 sample tests were conducted for coronavirus in India yesterday. A total of 38,52,38,220 sample tests have been done till yesterday.

In the last 24 hours, the maximum death due to corona has occurred in Maharashtra, 1,236. Apart from this, 270 people died in Tamil Nadu, 148 in Karnataka and 147 in Kerala. A total of 3,81,903 deaths have occurred in the country so far due to corona infection.
